Anna's Forest School Session (Lavenham)

Forest School for Preschoolers

Come and discover the magic of Forest School, where every session is led by your child's curiosity, imagination and sense of adventure.

Set in our beautiful woodland in Lavenham, children are free to explore, create, climb, dig, splash, build and get gloriously muddy while developing confidence, resilience and a lifelong love of nature. There are no worksheets or expectations here, just real play, real learning and plenty of fresh air.

Every session is child-led, meaning children choose how they engage with the activities on offer. One week they might be cooking mud cakes in the mud kitchen, building dens, swinging through the trees, creating natural crafts or relaxing with a story in our woodland reading nook. Another week they may be discovering minibeasts, learning new skills with simple tools, gathering around the fire pit for hot chocolate or simply enjoying the freedom to explore at their own pace.

Forest School nurtures the whole child, encouraging problem-solving, communication, creativity, physical development and emotional wellbeing through meaningful play in nature.

If you're looking for a place where your child can get muddy, make friends, build confidence and experience the joy of the outdoors, we'd love to welcome you around our log circle.

Come dressed for the weather, ready for adventure... and don't worry if they come home a little muddy – that's usually a sign they've had the best day!

Women's Circle Little Waldingfield Daytime

Step away from the busyness of everyday life and join me for a gentle, nurturing hour and a half of connection. Our Women’s Circle is a calm, welcoming space where you can pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself and with other like-minded women.

Each circle is designed to help you slow down and unwind. We’ll begin with a guided meditation, allowing you to release the noise of the day, followed by open, heartfelt conversation. There’s never any pressure to speak you’re welcome to simply listen, reflect quietly, or share as much or as little as feels right for you.

In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to feel isolated and disconnected. These circles offer a chance to return to community, to find friendship, understanding, and support in a space where you can simply be yourself.

Women have been sitting in circles for thousands of years gathering to share stories, wisdom, and companionship. This is your invitation to continue that tradition: to pause, exhale, and reconnect with the strength and softness of being surrounded by women who get it.

Special guest for March: Anita Huckle coming to do some Soma Breathwork with us.

About Anita - I am a trained relationship coach, working with couples and individuals. I help people to navigate dating, relationship and intimacy. My work does include breathing exercises but I always felt that I need to know more about the benefits of Breath Work. So, I trained as a Soma Breath Coach.

Little did I know that this path would lead to a huge improvement in my own health and my cardio fitness which had been poor due to weak lungs from an illness in my 20s and several bouts of Covid.

Through Soma Breath I am now helping others to be happier, healthier and more energised, balance their nervous systems, reduce depression, improve sleep, strengthen their immune system, manage stress, prevent illness and improve self-esteem.

I particularly love the enormous library of inspiring music which is part of Soma Breath and I am (I now realise) a life-long manifester so writing visualisations for my breath work is a pleasure.

Women's Circle Little Waldingfield

Step away from the busyness of everyday life and join me for a gentle, nurturing hour and a half of connection. Our Women’s Circle is a calm, welcoming space where you can pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself and with other like-minded women.

Each circle is designed to help you slow down and unwind. We’ll begin with a guided meditation, allowing you to release the noise of the day, followed by some journaling (with prompts) and open, heartfelt conversation.
