Inspire Women’s Networking

Our story

Inspire changed my business and my life.

A few years ago, I walked into my first Inspire meeting feeling completely lost.

I'd been self-employed for around a year. I had a two-year-old in tow, was juggling the demands of motherhood and business, and was working with a client who had a significant impact on my confidence and wellbeing.

To be completely honest, I was ready to give up.

I remember sitting in that meeting and bursting into tears as I explained how I was feeling. I was exhausted, overwhelmed and questioning whether self-employment was really for me.

What happened next is something I'll never forget.

Instead of judgement, I found understanding.

Instead of competition, I found encouragement.

Instead of feeling alone, I found a room full of women who genuinely wanted to see me succeed.

The women around that table listened, supported me and helped me see things differently. They encouraged me to let go of what wasn't serving me, including the client relationship that was draining so much of my energy, and helped me rediscover why I'd started my business in the first place.

Some of those women have become lifelong friends.

Many continue to be part of my support network today.

That experience showed me the incredible power of women supporting women.

It reminded me that we don't have to navigate business, motherhood and life alone.

Taking the Next Step

In January 2024, I took over Inspire Women's Networking.

For me, this was never just about running networking events.

It was about protecting and growing the community that had supported me during one of the most challenging periods of my business journey.

Today, my favourite part of Inspire is creating a space where women can show up exactly as they are.

A space where conversations are real.

A space where relationships come before referrals.

A space where women celebrate each other's successes, support each other through challenges and build genuine connections that extend far beyond business.

Whether you're an experienced business owner, just starting out, or somewhere in between, you'll be welcomed exactly as you are.

Because sometimes the most important thing a woman can find isn't another business contact.

It's a community that reminds her she doesn't have to do it all alone.

Inspire isn't about perfect pitches, polished appearances or having all the answers. It's about connection, community and women supporting women.
